On 30th January 2009, MXI
launched its unique range of Xocai (pronounced show-sigh)
Healthy Chocolate products into the UK following successful
launches in the USA, Canada, Australia, New Zealand and Japan.
It comes at a time when many people have set New Year’s
resolutions to get fitter and slimmer and the Government is
stepping up its latest initiative to encourage the population to
lead healthier lifestyles.
MXI has developed and patented a
brand new process of dark chocolate production and is able for
the first time, to preserve the high levels of antioxidants and
nutrients that are abundant in the raw cacao plant. It has also
created an exclusive propriety formulation and has cut out all
the waxes, fillers, refined sugars and bad fats present in
regular chocolate to produce a pure, unadulterated chocolate

In Britain today, the average person
consumes 18lbs of chocolate a year – 50% more than the average

Trials have shown that the potential
benefits of eating pure cacao products include; healthier
cardiovascular function, lower blood pressure, lower cholesterol
levels, reduced insulin dependency, improved respiratory
function, better joint flexibility, better dental health,
suppression of cravings and promotes weight loss.
Previous attempts to produce a
healthier type of chocolate have resulted in a considerable
compromise to the taste – but this is not the case with Xocai.
They have managed to maintain the taste and flavour of the very
